Our Values

At Pearlside, our mission to spread God’s love throughout the islands and the world is guided by the foundational principles that God has given to us as a church. In everything we do, we strive to live by God’s Word and seek His will through worship and prayer. These characteristics of ministry are what drive us.

Living by God's Word

The Bible is the foundation of everything we do. In over 2,000 years it has not lost an ounce of power or relevance. We look to it for direction, correction, inspiration, and application. It is the very cornerstone of our lives.

Engaging The Unchurched

Jesus compels every believer to fulfill His calling to go and make disciples of all nations. We look for opportunities to reach the unreached through loving friendships, acts of compassion, and by God’s supernatural intervention.

Relying on Worship and Prayer

God actively joins us as we worship Him and seek Him in prayer. As individuals, in small groups, and through corporate settings we pursue God in both worship and prayer on a regular, ongoing basis.

Developing Leaders

We see the potential to lead in every person. We actively seek out and train leaders who will lead in their homes, the workplace, and in ministry. They, in turn, will raise up other leaders. After all, Jesus told us, “The harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few.” We are driven because the world needs great leaders.

Thinking Beyond Ourselves

We know that every generation matters. We embrace diversity and are committed to being a church that thinks beyond our ages, building bridges and connecting with all in every stage and of life. We yield to God’s desire to reach out and expand His name through radical generosity, time, and talents—embracing His call on our lives.

Multiplying Churches

Just as believers are to reproduce new believers, churches are to reproduce new churches. As a church, we are committed to planting new churches locally, nationally, and globally. Our goal is not just to add, but to multiply. In order to reach the world, it is our sending capacity and not just our seating capacity that will make the difference. We look to actively send people out on God’s mission both for short and long term works.
